03/12/2011 We are doing upgrades on our network over the next 2 weeks, these upgrades may impact Internet access to users while the upgrades are taking place. these impacted will be kept to a minimum.

05/08/2011 Our VMWare infrastructure had a hardware failure, while we lost no data, we did discover a single point of failure with our ESXi infrastructure, which we have now resolved.

10/01/2011 An Access Point node hosting users in Waterfall has had a hardware failure, we are working with our suppliers to provision a replacement system - the issue was resolved at 21:08

29/12/2010 We have upgraded our Hosting servers to running VMWare ESXi 4.1 and migrated our website & monitoring to this new infrastructure. During the upgrade the website was down.

22/12/2010 A radio card was replaced in one of our Pluckanes Access Points, during the work some customers in the area were without Broadband. This work took place between 6am & 9:30am on 22/12/2010

16/12/2010 Vodafone upgrade the Ballincollig exchange for their bandband users - replacing the Eircom wholesale "Bitstream" product with LLU - this exchange joins exchanges across the country which is now having bandwidth and quality issues affecting Vodafone customers as a result of the upgrade going wrong. 24/02/2010 Eircom has outages on their Broadband Network in Cork, impacting Eircom and companies reselling Eircom Internet - No Impact to CCB Customers - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055838036

05/02/2010 - Our node on Grange Hill serving customers in Ballincollig has been impacted by ESB Power failures. At 11:03 our UPS failed, At 11:43 power was restored and service returned - Outage of 40 minutes,
- The ESB had a further outage and due to our UPS not having enough time to charge batteries we lost service again at 11:53 - We replaced our UPS at 14:17 restoring service while we wait for the ESB to restore power. (additional 145 minute outage)
ESB Restored Power at 17:45 - Issue resolved

All backbone traffic routing through Grange Hill automaticly re-routed via our other backbone network links - limiting the impact to only those customers directly served by the Grangehill node.

23/01/2010 - One of our upstream Transit providers had an outage between 18:52 and 19:41 due to a card failure in a core router in Cork -- CCB Customers were not impacted as all our traffic routed via alternative transit providers.

31/11/2009 - To All Broadband Customers -- We have upgraded all our packages in-order for our customers to be perfectly placed to take advantage of our new Phone Service "VoIP" this service now means you can stop paying Line Rental and you also get cheaper calls.
